The song White Christmas is a famous and popular Christmas song. The music and lyrics were written by Irving Berlin in 1942 and sung by Bing Crosby. The lyrics of White Christmas struck a chord with the soldiers fighting in the Second World War and their families waiting for them back home. Here is an extract from the film which was released in 1954.

On December 10th, 2000 the Corrs played for the President of the USA and all those present at the annual "Christmas in Washington" concert. They sang So this is Christmas, (the war is over).

There were referring to the war of Kosovo. The President was William Jefferson Bill Clinton who has elected in 1993. He was President from 1993 to 2001 during eight years.

You're right. They were referring to the war in Kosovo. And you're right again, Bill Clinton was first elected in 1993 and then re-elected in 1996. He was the 42nd President of the USA.<br />
All in all he served for 8 years.<br />
